An almost ethereal feeling painting that depicts a lioness.  The emphasis of blue tones and the soft focus of the background make the subject of the animal stand to foreground with the use of complimentary colours.

'There is always something to be working towards.  A goal to be reached.  A challenge to overcome.  This piece was the start of journey for me, the soft almost holy lighting captures a sense of hope and achievement.

The journey may be long, it is more often than not, one that is hard, but there is an end and when the journey is complete, we can finally rest'.
